Actually I think with cap smoothing the cap can only go up by 10 million a year so we're still a decade plus away from crossing the 100 mil a year barrier.

when all is said and done with giannis's career, one might look back at this stretch with the bucks and wonder "how the FUCK?" did they bungle his prime years so badly: canning bud, hiring doc rivers of all people, trading for lillard and kuzma, etc.

Bud or not-Rivers or whatever doesn't repair Middleton's knees or Dame's achilles. Being healthy makes or breaks title runs and the Bucks haven't had even both of their top 2 guys healthy in the playoffs since they won the title (and barely even then).
