This is akin to Saudi watching half naked women wrestlers, but asking them to cover up when they have to watch them in person........ I mean, what did the NBA expect inviting gambling to league? Folks invite things incompatible with their standards lol......

What did you think she was going to smell like when you invited her? She smells like what she raps about........*Shrugs*
In league with the refs no doubt.
in actual wnba news, the league just announced they will be expanding to Cleveland, Detroit, and Philadelphia over the next 5 seasons, up to 18 teams total. joining in that order in 28/29/30
More W's for the Lynx to gain.
the joke in philly is that they had to give the league 5 years notice that philly fans are coming
Turns out when JDub put up 40 in the Finals he did it with a torn ligament in his wrist, an injury he had all postseason.

Turner leaving Indiana is actually the way more surprising part of that to me.
But apparently Indiana just absolutely refuses to enter the tax so they didn't offer him more than 27 mil a year

who's going to be the first 100m player in history? i wonder
Maybe Wemby? There's gonna be max contracts signed every year so it's just going to be a matter of timing with the cap going up
that's what i was thinking also but sometimes the guy who gets the 'biggest contract ever' just happens to be the random person at the right time
like Mike Conley and jaylen Brown iirc
Actually I think with cap smoothing the cap can only go up by 10 million a year so we're still a decade plus away from crossing the 100 mil a year barrier.
it is p funny the Bucks lose Lopez just to sign an identical but younger, slightly better Lopez. still ain't doing anything without a 2nd star for Giannis.
Pacers are cooked they got nothing that can begin to replicate bro
Nuggets swapping a tall injury-prone shooter who doesn't do anything else for a tall injury-prone shooter who doesn't do anything else is great. Bruce Brown coming home is big tho they were a bit of depth away from derailing OKC and maybe grabbing another chip.
when all is said and done with giannis's career, one might look back at this stretch with the bucks and wonder "how the FUCK?" did they bungle his prime years so badly: canning bud, hiring doc rivers of all people, trading for lillard and kuzma, etc.
fwiw this move seems fine to me but all that precipitated it is like, wow, will nba gms ever get tired of fucking up the program for all-time guys?
Bud or not-Rivers or whatever doesn't repair Middleton's knees or Dame's achilles. Being healthy makes or breaks title runs and the Bucks haven't had even both of their top 2 guys healthy in the playoffs since they won the title (and barely even then).
