But yes, I could fly to Chicago, rent a car, drive to Milwaukee, buy a Bucks ticket vs the Spurs, get a hotel, and fly back for about the same amount as this Clippers ticket lol

Brown always struck me as a Doc-type with his credibility not matched by his resume. He seems to be fine as a defensive coach or for a rebuilding team, but he's not the coach to get a team over the hump to a chip.

While I was sad we didn’t keep jimmy in Chicago, it was a nice home grown story, his exits from Chicago, minny, Philly, and now Miami now show it wasn’t us, it’s him.

I think Philly was legitimately not his fault. They picked Tobias Harris over him due to budget.

Miami seems to just him being upset they wouldn't pay him after all he did while Miami obviously doesn't want to commit max to him in old age.

There's been a lot of mixed messages about why he left Philly but one of them was supposedly the front office questioning whether Brett Brown and the coaching staff could keep Jimmy under control.

Which was a perfectly fair question given how his exit from Minnesota went.

I think he basically feels that those runs earned him the kind of loyalty deal that LeBron got
