Guess we'll see if Dems can find a handful of reps who are willing to get primaried in two years to stop all the stupid shit.

It's going to be interesting watching Mike Johnson hold this coalition together when they all know they're going to get fucking slaughtered in two years. GOP lost 40 seats in Trump's 2018 midterms.
Gonna be interesting to see how the at risk house members play it. Run to center and risk getting killed in primary. Hang onto Trump's balls and get killed in the general. I'm sure it'll be very dependent on geography and demographics, but Johnson is gonna have a significantly worse time as more radical legislation gets moved which makes those at risk members even more nervous and fracture.
Adam Gray just netted ~2000 votes, only down 227 now.

This is the difference between 221-214 and 220-215.

The large MN Somali community voted for Trump because they didn't approve of Biden/Harris support of Israel. But they also voted for Ilhan Omar because she publicly denounced the Israeli war. Guess they didn't get the memo that Trump had been in active communication with Netanyahu the whole time.
Crypto accounted for one third of all donations this election and 85% of the congressmen/women won their races.
60 minutes will have a full feature on it tonight.
Is there any actual source for that? Cause that account is clearly just flailing all over the place about the election being hacked.
Ahh, i got had by propaganda

Wasn't sure where else to post this since the general 2024 election thread is locked, but:
Lawsuit Challenging 2024 Election Results Moves Forward After Kamala Harris Received Zero Votes in a New York County
I mean... This seems like it should at least be looked into, no?
No

I don't think it needs to be blasted on national media, but that result is curious enough to look into imo. 99% chose to split the ticket? Hmmm

Yeah, it's been looked into, turns out those districts are ultra-conservative Orthodox Jews voting how their leader dictates, end of looking

The whole "election was obviously stolen" angle is basically the only allowed recap opinion of 2024 allowed on r/politics now among many other similar spaces. It's super annoying.
People will do absolutely anything to avoid having to face the music on this stuff. Trump won legitimately. Maybe with a minority of eligible voters, but definitely with a majority of actual voters. Saying he stole the election just because it makes you uncomfortable otherwise is denying the deep issues this country has that led to this happening in the first place.
