Some dude tried scaling the White House perimeter fence today, he got up there pretty fast but then had difficulty getting over the spiked top. By the time he got over, Secret Service with dogs were approaching and he said fuck that and came back down the original side where a different group of Secret Service and Capitol Police arrested him with little incident.

If nothing else it was a solid test of Secret Service response time, all in all took about 40 seconds.

I mean I hear you on the hysteria thing but lobotomizing someone would make ADHD worse, not better. And we still induce seizures for schizophrenia, depression, or bipolar disorder because it actually works.

A job at Penn Station lol. He's lost at the moment. Wanted to attend SCAD, but tuition costs + generative AI art is making him reevaluate everything. If he doesn't figure it out by summer break, probably community college while he figures it out.

I almost died laughing today when I heard Trump suggested Palestinians would love to move to Egypt as some kind of solution. There is zero way Egypt can handle that influx of people. As is, the way things are going, Egypt is on the verge of collapsing even without them coming in. The US gives them so much money to keep the country afloat. An as we know the US is pulling out foreign aid everywhere.

I don’t think they talk about this (why would they), but in case you didn’t know, there are electricity curfews in Egypt because they don’t have enough to run it.

A lot of this has to do with their insistence of expanding the Aswan Dam and trying to run all of Cairo off of it. Despite everyone saying it was a stupid idea until the Russians did it for them anyway. Things have improved in recent years from my understanding, but that whole place is hanging on by a thread still.
