Super Bowl special
Democrats need a big meat shield leader. Someone shit doesn't stick to because they're a witty, smart, person that isn't affected by the hate from the right.
Someone that gives no ammo and can fucking dunk on Donald easily. Fuck this bullshit yall. Trump sucks.
What the fuck? Why? I thought the idea was to bring manufacturing INTO the US. What a fucking putz.

ugh. I keep thinking Trump can't math and does not realize he'll just make things worse. And what's worse, some of my older friends do not see that.
In a move that I'm sure is exciting for MAGA and shit-pilled zoomers, Elon Musk went ahead and rehired the rascist asshole that resigned after their online posts were found. It was done with both Trump and Vance's blessing.
Policies pull exceptionally well.
If you're saying they poll poorly when the poll question is "Do you want to give up all of your income to fund new cars for homeless people?" then yes, it doesn't pan out. If instead you message it more around the need for a safety need, especially when it comes to medical debt and other things potentially putting your own ass on the street people will go "Oh yeah for sure".=
https://www.dataforprogress.org/polling-the-left-agenda Just did a quick search for some data on it all but it's all about phrasing.
Jesus Christ dude, Republicans have 218 in the house. They make quorum every single time on their own. You're saying you wish Democrats called attendance at the start of the day every day and you're pissed they aren't? Listen to yourself lmfao

^This shouldn't be surprising to anyone with a brain. The way you package something is more important than whats inside it. I mean thats pretty much the Republican bread and butter. They could sell a Lifetime supply of Milk products to a Lactose Intolerant person.
If Democrats have any issues making well received policies its because they're shit at selling it, and being shit at selling it doesn't mean its a bad policy, it means their methods are outdated. Not to be blunt about the intelligence of the average voter but as the saying goes, a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.
I'd settle for Democrats not voting yes on Trump apointees TBH. I get they're going to pass anyway, it ain't about that. Its about Democrats trying to tell us this is a threat to our entire way of life and democracy yet theres like 8~+ Democrats giving Trumps apointees a big thumbs up.
Which I want to point out, again, means their messaging fucking sucks and is contradicting itself. If these people are an actual huge problem(Which, they are.) why are there Democrats just acting like business as usually passing through horribly unqualified yesman? Even if your No vote doesn't prevent them from getting in, it at least sends a consistent fucking message. if I'm your average voter(Read:Dumbass) and I see Dems on TV saying "The world is ending this is the beginning of Fascism!!!" and then 5 minutes later I see a story about how a Trump Appointee passed with bipartisan votes, the fuck am I suppose to think about that?
This isn't just progressive policies though. People have pointed out that this effect also applies to Trump policies if they are pitched as Biden origin, and Biden policies if pitched as Trump origin.
If we are going to concede that content is entirely irrelevant and it's only about messaging, then the only thing is that matters is the candidate's likeability as a spokesperson. Which gets us back to what the argument has always been about: is it better to energize liberal non-voters with someone they support, or to get someone that can peel off moderates from the GOP?
Biden proved both that the moderate strategy literally works as an electoral tactic. The main counterpoint is that we are just giving in to the GOP yanking the Overton window, is the argument that Biden could have substantively done more if he was more liberal?
And again, if Bernie can't even win the plurality of Dems in the primary, why do we think he can win in the general? The DNC might have wanted Biden and HRC, but the fact is Bernie couldn't get people to vote.
The circumstances surrounding the election of Biden shouldn't be viewed as some kind of counter-argument to progressive policies. Biden has been in politics for a thousand years, served as VP, faced a historically unlikeable far right candidate, and still barely scraped by a win in an environment made for a y generic Democrat to win.
Biden would've fucking gotten crushed this election. It isn't proof of shit. Bringing up a Bernie is laughable. He wasn't given a chance.
his emails weren't buttery
The real problem for Bernie is that he wasn't popular enough within the liberal party to win a primary. If only he had made it to the general he would have crushed with gen pop!
We just need fucking government jobs programs...like just set up programs to build rail across country, houses in more areas and then you have a huge spike in jobs for the american worker. Sadly capitalism/corp America and our techno-overlords don't want that shit so here we are and here we will remain.
Consider this: single payer healthcare.
If Trump translated the platform of single payer healthcare into Trump-speak and made it into his policy platform line-by-line, it would have massive MAGA support.
You could replace almost any "liberal" policy item and it would poll positively with a huge majority of MAGA after Trump says it out loud.
ergo:
Alright, listen folks, let me tell you about single-payer healthcare. It’s *simple*, okay? You’ve got one system, just one. And it’s run by the government—believe me, the best government. You know, everybody’s talking about it. People love it, or they don’t know what they're talking about.
So, here’s the deal: in single-payer, *everybody*—and I mean *everybody*, not just some people, everybody—gets healthcare. It’s paid for by taxes, folks, taxes that you pay to the government. Sounds great, right? No more worrying about private insurance companies, no more middlemen. *No more problems*, because the government handles it all.
I’ve seen it work in other countries, *tremendous* countries. They have a system where the government takes care of everything, and people love it, okay?
But let me tell you, folks, not everyone agrees with it. Some people, some very bad people, want to keep the system the way it is, with *big insurance companies*, they don’t care about you—they just want to make money. *I’m not about that.* I’m about getting the best care for the people, the people that *deserve* it, not some fancy insurance CEO making all the money.
So, with single-payer, no more confusion. One plan, the government handles it, and it’s *the best* for everyone. Believe me!
