It's not even that. He just does nothing and nothing happens. There's no repercussions and nothing matters. Feel free to commit massive securities fraud or bribe some more officials. You won't even go to court.

You realize Trump can't do anything on his own, its all done by regular dudes. Regular dudes who likely don't want to go to jail, or pay a ridiculous fine. That's how you get compliance, through the instrumentalities.
Remember that "just following orders" is not a defense. But they're too stupid to remember that. And that it only matters if you lose in the end.
"Just following orders" for the winning side has numerous rewards.
Regular dudes? Is this the same shit where people are like lol criminals won't listen to the law anyway but think it's okay for Trump to not do it because "regular dudes are executing it"? That's not an excuse.
What good is law if you can just ignore it without consequence? What kind of message does that send?
Like, Fox was pushing the "judges shouldn't be able to tell the president what to do" narrative when they literally were saying judges should block everything Biden does... And these are judges that Trump appointed.
It's just more bullshit after bullshit. Law means nothing without teeth, so these lawyers and judges really don't mean shit if they're constantly saying "don't do that or else" and just keep or-elseing.
Trump is now also proposing 100% tariffs on Canadian cars, lol
Yeah I forgot about how much trouble the courts had enforcing rulings the last time oh wait

Lol if you think the fact they enforced them in the past is going to mean shit going forward. They learned from their mistakes in 2016-2020 and actually came with a plan this time."John Marshall has made his decision, now let him enforce it." Although the comment is probably apocryphal, both Georgia and Jackson simply ignored the decision.
Let's ask the Supreme Court![]()
Get ready to pay more for everything from cars to a can of beans with the steel and aluminum tariffs.

The Supreme Court doesn't enforce anything does it? It only decides what needs enforcement. If someone needs arresting, who does that?
They don't have any way to enforce anything.
Let's review:
So if they rule against the President and compel the US Marshals to enforce their decision. The DoJ head, appointed by the President, tells them to go fuck themselves. When a losing litigant refuses to comply with a federal court order, that order is enforced by the US Marshals Service, a law enforcement agency housed in the US Department of Justice. The Marshals, in other words, are executive branch officials subordinate to the president.
And the GOP Congress sits on their thumb. That's the most important part.
