It is an unanswerable question whether the Palestine protest vote was enough to swing the election. It's not just their vote, it's their antagonism to the party in the face of a party that will go even further against their ideals. It's the negative media and attention that influences morale and perception. It's like saying social media doesn't have an influence on people's decisions at the same time there's an entire industry of "influencers" who live off it.

You say that as if it's never happened man. In the 2 most famous instances of a president defying a court order, the court (SCOTUS ) ACKNOWLEDGED they can do fucking nothing (Worcester and Merryman).

There were MULTIPLE instances of states and governors defying Brown V Board. Courts, again, ACKNOWLEDGING they can't do a fucking thing, and leaned on the executive to handle enforcement...something they'd never do today. The executive sent the military to handle enforcement.


What I'm saying is that, for someone who has spoken so much of precedent in this thread, you're missing the mark here.
