Like Sinema and Manchin, both of which should have been slapped around a bit by Biden using the bully pulpit and whipped by others. Manchin has a shit ton of dirt on him and his daughter that could have been lightly threatened about to force him to comply in some way or another. Even still, like i've said before, they can still slow shit down. It only takes 1 person to contest a quorum and require a count of everyone present. If only 80% of the current dems do that EVERY FUCKING TIME and take other steps it helps drag the feet of this administration. Of course they aren't going to win any fights but they can at least show a spine of some sort.

But yeah, far better look for them to be just frowning outside the Dept of Ed, or frowning as they vote "yes" everything the GoP puts forward because "if we vote no it doesn't matter anyways "

Nobody that matters actually cares if they "show a spine" the people tuning in are the base and will vote for them no matter what. Actual moderates and undecideds the people that actually swing elections only care about soundbites put out 6 months before the election.
