I don't think he even hires smart people now really for the most part. These 19-22yr old kids are probably decent with programming and computers but they don't know shit about anything else. He used to have an aura about himself where smart people could buy into the "cult of elon" and that's still probably somewhat true but as he continues to take over different businesses people are realizing he's a fucking idiot.

That one quote of thinking Elon was smart when he did Tesla shit because you didn't do car stuff, then smart cuz SpaceX and you didn't do space stuff but as soon as he started Twitter shit you realized "This guy is a fucking moron" because you do do tech stuff lol

Admittedly I'd be curious to see what percentage of the CIA has leaned republican throughout the decades. A lot of destabilization efforts correspond to thwarting progressive/socialist policies foreign and domestic, though you can't deny the occasional racism/christiofascism. If viewed through that lens, not doing anything to Trump/Elon is a slam dunk. On the other hand, if recruitment has suffered similarly to the military, I could legit see them not having enough manpower or failing to train new agents properly.

At this point, if we're not cheeseburgered, my prediction is eventually they pull a wire they shouldn't and the military decides, "No, no more." not unlike South Korea. All the fucking with the VA is probably stoking that fire already.
