So some juicy drama popped up overnight. I'll try to summarize, but it's worth it to read.

Long story short, Elon and Vivek announced they want to double the HB1 visa program, because in their eyes, specifically Elon's, Americans are too stupid (read: expensive) to do coding/software/engineering jobs, so they want to increase the number of Indian immigrants to take those jobs from Americans. As you might imagine, this is one of the red lines that conservatives actually do not want crossed, and anyone who speaks out against the idea is getting their verification status revoked on twitter. This includes prominent conservative twitter handles like in this thread:

Laura Loomer was affected also; Elon revoked her verification, then removed her ability to make longer tweets. She's having a complete meltdown. Cons are in a tremendous uproar, and Elon is stoking the flames. The cons are in twitter spaces holding meetings, and Elon keeps jumping in under a fake name trolling them all, pissing them off further. I'm going to quote a play by play a user on Reddit was doing, which I highly recommend reading, because it's absolutely schadenfreude gold. The result of this trolling has had the more extreme right wingers 1. calling for Vivek to be deported, and 2. Making threats to kill Musk outright (see my prediction in the Celebrity death thread for 2025. Go make your predictions!) Anyways, for your reading pleasure, the breakdown of their...breakdowns:

They’re fighting and loomer is saying “the problem are the techbros”, “Adrian” is fighting tooth and defending X.

Adrian just said “I’m arguing just because it’s funny”, this is totally Elon

EDIT 6: “Adrian” was just kicked from the call by the host, stated reason was he was “completely doing damage control for tech bros and X and not offering any solutions and [stonewalling basically]”

EDIT 7: Loomer is telling the hosts to bring back “Adrian”, hosts are saying no. New speaker Owen Shroyer is now speaking and reporting more conservative accounts are getting their premium status stripped and is saying “[people in the community] are experiencing accute PTSD from [cancel culture censorship]”. Everyone is in agreement this is due to the H1B visa discussion. Loomer is reporting she has not been told why her account has been targeted.

EDIT 8: Loomer is saying “Musk is very sensitive” and is concerned about his role in the Trump admin. The other speakers are hypothesizing how it “might go deeper than just Elon”. Loomer continues to reinforce the concern about his position in the Trump administration from his behavior. She is disavowing Elon and saying that X is “not a place for free speech”

Other speakers have referenced elons comments about Americans being stupid, overall rhetoric is getting much more aggressive against musk. At first in the call they were hesitant to say Elon was involved at all. Sentiment is shifting fast against Elon

EDIT 9: speaker Owen Shroyer is saying he has already told all his correspondents to stop posting on X. Loomer mentions they are definitely monitoring the call. Loomer is now saying “musk loves chaos, his whole platform is based off chaos going viral”. She is accusing him of being a bad actor and shit stirrer

EDIT 10: speaker Cassandra McDonald is referencing elons newest tweet about the “right splitting into the “right right” and the “tech right”. She is also saying she feels unsafe to use the platform. Speaker David J Reilly floats idea to move to new “crypto social media” platform. Nobody acknowledges the irony.

Owen Shroyer “this is the most serious situation since Elon bought the platform”. He is calling for investigation into “what made Loomer fall”…. “Someone made the decision to press the button and [tell loomer] you’re out”

Other speakers are all floating ideas for alternative platforms

Rumble keeps getting referenced. The topic of a mass migration is being discussed.

EDIT 11: Loomer “i already was paying for premium and now it won’t allow me to press the get verified button.” “It’s clearly an attempt to prevent me from expressing myself”

She is currently lamenting over losing access to grok. Loomer is bringing up the fact Elon supported Desantis. She is advocating the idea that he is completely fake. Nobody is arguing, other speakers are concurring with her. She is currently challenging his supposed intelligence and questioning if he’s even smart.

EDIT 12: new speaker Eric Finman is now speaking, saying Elon is full of shit with his “free speech” grift. Nobody is even arguing against it. The topic is coming back to the cause being the H1B visa. ConservativeOG is confirming that

EDIT 13: Loomer is bringing up how she has been demonized despite being a true believer of trumps agenda. People are sympathetic

Loomer tells Adrian that a tech advisor like Elon is not fit for being treated like he is an elected official. “Adrian” is deeply offended and laughs at this, calls her stupid

“Adrian” is doubling down on Loomer, keeps arguing she is racist against Indians.

They are currently arguing over semantics as loomer is claiming the argument she was targeted due to her being racist towards Indians is bullshit. Apparently the account was limited for “posting private information”

EDIT 14 Loomer and friends have been just going over the details of the account limit. “Adrian” has in depth knowledge of the X account limiting function and is requesting that she shows him the email she got. It’s so obvious it’s Elon it’s unreal. No random person would be this confident in how they are speaking on the way X works internally

Nick proceeds to go on one of his typical racist tirades, however he specifically brings up these points:

-he admits he did not vote for Trump and says Trump has betrayed MAGA by being pro H1B. He blames people like Elon and Zuckerberg. He brings up Thiel and says this is the reason JD Vance was picked: Trump needed money.

-nick fuentes is continuing to go on his rant and is saying Musk bought Trump. Nobody has objected to nick at any point. He is mocking how conservatives had embraced Elon, “I told you so, but you just called me a democrat plant”.

-he is saying that Trump was taken over by big tech, he is saying how Trump shills are what pushed this, he appears to have lost hope and says he does not give a shit about removing food dye (referring to RFK).

-he brings up JD Vance having an Indian family, references the photo of his Christmas and says “he never been our guy, he’s ok with being surrounded by Indians”

EPILOGUE: From this point on nothing notable was said, more typical rants reinforcing prior sentiment. At some point during nicks rant, he mentions litigation against X and at around this point is when “Adrian” dips.

All they are doing with these tweets is giving future lawyers ammunition against them the next time they are sued for terminating someone. Their popularity is taking such a hit with MAGA right now that the DOGE thing could turn into a huge waste of time for them because Trump won't want to touch their findings if they make themselves radioactive.

Personally, I'm amazed at watching two people flame out so quickly and unnecessarily stupidly as these two are.

Ramaswamy has in 2 days absolutely tanked any chance of ever successfully running for any federal office in the future. Musk is also just pissing any and all goodwill with half of the country down the crapper which could end up alienating the one person in charge who could have really helped his business interests with contracts and job steering. It also could damage Twitter in the long run.

My understanding from friends in the industry is that if you want to get your foot in the door you really need to know somebody important.

The only other chance you have is to go to MIT or Ivy League and then you MIGHT have a shot at an internship. Even then they are very picky. For example I believe they've recently begun turning their noses up at Stanford because it doesn't have the appeal they want anymore. STANFORD.

If you're none of the above and just go to a regular college like, idk, 95% of the workforce, lol. Forget it dude.

It's being USED to get workers that, instead of enticing to stay in the position with high and increasing pay, are extorted into staying in the position at stagnant baseline pay through the implicit threat of deportation.
