the explanation is that if the tackle moves backwards getting into his actual stance, as long as he doesn’t land on his back foot before the ball is snapped it’s not a false start. it’s different than a typical flinch. again, important to note it’s different than just mistakenly moving before the snap, which is the typical false start call
