I usually watch it for the dumb cringe moments, but they actually had some worthwhile fucking announcements in a decent amount for once.

DLC of the year category would be so pointless most years given how a lot of it is pale in comparison to what f2p games tend to get as an 'update'.

They already have a category for DLC of the year. It's called "Best Ongoing Game."

Eh nah that's mostly for the F2P games and MMOs or games that get excellent updates like BG3.

I think DLC of the year targeted at actual expansions and whatnot that you buy would be fine. Sure there isn't a lot of it that is worth it, but it would be worth it to recognize the ones that do stand above. Isn't that the whole point of the damn awards?
