Despite the name of the series it's still kinda NSFW
Next trailer drops on Wednesday
Cautiously optimistic.
Edit: I am a little worried about all the other heroes they appear to be jamming in the movie. I'm hoping it isn't just a DCCU setup movie disguised as a Superman film but we'll have to see.
I was cautious before but that trailer got me hyped.

Yup. First Superman movie I'm actively looking forward to since ... Superman IV: The Quest for Peace when I was (checks notes) 12. Middle school aged me saw that pile of crap movie, was jaded on the character. Then Batman '89 and I've been a Caped Crusader guy ever since.
I'll be there to see this one in the theaters, though. Gonna go dark on trailers from this point out, I think - I have seen enough.
Looks damn good
The change in his voice going Clark to Superman in the opening part, James Gunn really just gets this shit.
I also appreciate that they CGI'd out the flinch when he gets hit with the can from the first trailer. Made no sense for Superman to be flinching there.
He's flinching from surprise, not from being hurt
I'm going to allow myself to be hyped for this now.

You can tell from the visuals so far that Gunn is definitely heavily influenced by two things. All-star Superman, and the iteration of the Justice League comics from the 80's. Both of these things I'm perfectly OK with if he can weave them well.
Gunn has said in interviews that "it is very inspired by All-Star Superman" so what they're seeing from the trailer is intentional

Character posters
With Kat Grant in this, the post-credits scene has to be supergirl, right? (I know it's already been announced)
