I have the opportunity to see this at a true IMAX theater and I think I'm going to do it. My Mom called me and said relatives on her side of the family want to meet up and drive down to see it and eat somewhere. They have done this before. I would really rather not because of certain ones extremest policial, religious views. That's all they talk about when you talk to them anymore.

I was really tempted to see it on July 8th because Amazon Prime members get an early screening that day but it's only at a IieMAX near here.

The animation quality on the Fleischer cartoons was nuts! Also whenever I picture Lois Lane, it's always the Fleisher version with the Tommy gun. Alas this isn't Fleischer.

James Gunn 100% gets Superman. The movie wasn't perfect, but it is a perfect representation of the Superman character.

And his entire supporting cast as well, absolutely loved this portrayal of Jimmy.

The Engineer was a little weird mostly just because of how different the character is from the existing comic version, but otherwise the casting for this movie was perfection even down to the more minor characters like Steve Lombard.
