I will say that I can definitely see how this movie can feel overwhelming/convoluted for people who don't know all the characters.

They just throw you right into the story and other than a 10 second aside to introduce Lex's henchmen they never stop to tell you who everyone is. As a comic nerd I appreciate not having to be reintroduced to Mr Terrific or Guy Gardner because I already know what they're about, but I can see it being a lot for the regular viewer.

I just got back from a little trip to see it in IMAX..

HOLY SHIT THIS WAS AMAZING!!!!!

Exceeded all my expectations!!

There is a beef I have with something but I will have to post that later cause I am very tired. Being around relatives all day exhausts me. ^^;

Just watched and loved it. It might be because I'm getting old, but for some reason I got Verkemplt a couple times.

Fun movie but my fun was spoiled a bit at certain scenes.

The Imax I was at had the worst fucking sound system and it literally destroyed my ear drums during the Mr Terrific scene when the music started playing. It was really bad and totally distracted my enjoyment of that scene.

Ok here is the one thing I didn't like. The more I think about it the more it bothers me..

When the rest of the message is revealed and Jor-El and Lara wanted him to conquer Earth. This goes against the characters and everything they stood for. The El family crest. The "S" stands for hope not tyranny. It really screws up the whole Superman mythos the more you think about it. I really thought it would be revealed later that Luthor faked that part. Then the scene right after where Mr. Terrific says its real.

It's the El family crest per current lore. The "it stands for hope" is a from the Superman Birthright comic (which is out of canon these days) and the 2013 movie.

Bro, I saw the movie with my son and it was rough. Verkemplt for sure
