He survived long enough for that one last show
He survived long enough for that one last show
From the sounds of it, that show was what motivated him to live the last year. He admitted he was pretty much down and out.
I only got to see him once at Blizzcon, think it was 2010 or 2011, and he was great. Now he's back with Lemmy, throwing back glasses of whiskey.
Insert "you can do it, Ozzy! Bite his friggin head off!" .gif here
Damn. Damn. Hell of a loss. He must have known it was time.

how is keith richards still alive
The drugs didn't even take Ozzy out. He had Parkinson's. He was clearly addled badly by it at his last show. Had to sing from a chair.
This fucking sucks. RIP.
Yeah really how the hell is Keith richards outliving the legends. He got that Betty white and stan lee human sacrifice pack going too?
He's only 81, not quite on their level yet

RIP fucking legend. Best road trip was me and some friends driving from Edmonton to Vancouver for OzzFest in 99
I'm bummed out for sure, I was always an Ozzy fan going back to the Sabbath days....saw him live many times, and also got to meet him. He literally epitomized the Sex, Drugs, & Rock 'n Roll thing, and partied hard...snorting ants off of the pool deck while Motley Crue looked on (wtf?!? haha)...and he always had great guitarists which I was particularly interested in - Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, Brad Gillis, Zakk Wylde to name a few.
RIP

The crazy train is off the rails.RIP
Just saw Halestorm and Volbeat tonight, and Lzzy and crew did Perry Mason in his honor. Recorded it. Was a really great tribute.
I've seen nothing official but there is chatter going around that it might have been medically assisted suicide, something apparently Ozzy had discussed in the past he would seek if he had mental degradation
Watching him perform "Mamma I'm coming home" for the last time on stage was heartbreaking.
