The messaging also has to improve. AOC pleasantly surprised me by saying how Dems need to focus substantially more on effectively talking about what they've done for the working class, and will continue to do.

The problem is Dems don't have an army of free publicity in radio hosts and podcasts spewing nonsense and making up bullshit for them. You can't encourage that in democratic circles because Democrats aren't trying to rally around "fuck those colored folks". At best, Dems rally around "fuck Israel" which isn't a winning position.

I read something recently along these lines that basically said dem organizations just try to fund-raise and have vague promises on what they will do with the money whereas the right does more of what you're saying still with like "Come to our local NRA event! It'll be fun and you can air any grievances you have with us via our local chapters!"

This is going to be harder than it sounds like mostly because of the small scope of new media and the lack of funds to help reach a wide audience. While dated at this point, a lot of the stuff listed in the Herman/Chomsky book Manufacturing Consent still hold true now. Dems are effectively powerless on this aspect when compared to the right as both camps are basically beholden to the ultra rich and it's extremely hard to convince them to enact actual progressive policies as effectively any of them mean the rich get slightly less rich, so if they really do start campaigning and trying to seriously push through some of the more popular ideas, they will lose funding and therefore their ability to reach out on a scale as big as the opposition whose policies are basically "lets make the rich even more rich!"

This is the shit that kills me. Damn near everyone realized Biden was a bridge QB in 2020 except for the Democratic Party. They’ve learned absolutely nothing and will learn absolutely nothing until Father Time forces their hand. I have zero hope otherwise.

All us peasants can do now is insulate ourselves with whatever resources we still have for the next few years.
