The liberals still significantly outpace the leftists in the party. Healthcare is the only issue in which the majority of the party wants to go left.

These people don't even know what "move left" means.
Less than majority, a plurality want to move ledt...
Over half of either party responding that healthcare should stay the same or get worse (privatize) tells me this poll did an awful job of interviewing.
Neither party believes that. Or they do not understand what "moving toward the center" means.
It's an impossible result and no comprehensive polling on healthcare reflects those results.
It's NYT so this all tracks
I agree that not a single one of those people understands the poll question and have no clue about what an Overton window is.
do you strongly disagree, disagree, neither agree nor disagree, agree, or strongly agree
Do you:
Super disagree with leftists
Hard disagree with leftists
Disagree with leftists a lot
Disagree with leftists a bunch
Hate Jews
(You must pick one)
Ay yo I don't come here to talk about my work
how likely are you recommend this hotel to friends or family members
I just hate the american culture of talking about people's jobs so much. Talk about your hobbies, talk about things that make you happy.
Met a German guy the other day at the bar who told me he was sick of americans asking what his job was and I was like we're gonna be friends.
My family constantly badgers me about my job. Like I have a phone call with my mom and sound ever so slightly miffed and suddenly I'm expected to monologue for 30 minutes about everything that pissed me off today.
Like no. In fact talking more about it makes me even more mad. Why is this so hard to understand lol
Viva la capitalism and your entire worth as a human being judged on how you contribute to it, I guess. I know some EU countries have laws where employees can't bother you off the clock. That concept alone would be completely alien to Americans, let alone things like prolonged maternity/paternal leave or the dreaded universal healthcare.
