Over the last few days I have been totally astonished at the number of people lionizing Massie over this Epstein stuff. I see people on social media and Reddit and whatever saying shit like "We'll trade you Fetterman for him!!"
Like what? Are y'all fucking serious? This is what the 24 hour news cycle brain rot does to you.
This is the dumbest political topic of all time. The GOP are telling people that he voted 99% with Democrats and is a far left sleeper agent, which is completely false, but if you ask literally any GOP voter they will tell you it's true, despite the voting records being public domain. Massie himself in his concession speech bragged about voting with Trump 99% of the time and specifically pointed to how proud he was to destroy the "trans agenda" and said his crowning achievement was assisting in the dismantling of the Department of Education.
And yet people are getting thousands of likes and upvotes on left leaning boards for saying they'd rather have him than John Fetterman. Am I in bizarro world?
Both of these guys have single issue popularity. Massie is a far right demagogue except for Epstein. Fetterman is a reliable Democratic politician except for Israel. They are both ostensibly shitty people.
I just fucking can't man.
Fetterman and Massie are both dogshit, just toss them both in the dumpster and trade in anyone else.
Best we can do is trade Fet and get Manchin back. He might not have voted against the Iran blocks though.
Why are we posting news from 2018?
Hes on a Bestiality kick right now

It's ridiculous but who knows what kind of support it'll get.The bill says anyone who willfully seeks to destroy the life of another person at any stage of life could be held accountable for attempted murder. Anyone who succeeds in doing so could face first-degree murder charges.
The proposed legislation states that any person has the right to defend their own life or the life of another person, even by the use of deadly force if necessary, from willful destruction by another person.
Not enough, I assure you. NC might have gone red in recent elections but not that red.The bill is a constitutional amendment. If it passes the General Assembly, voters would decide the measure in the November 2026 general election. If approved by voters, the amendment would become effective Jan. 1, 2027.

Tuberville's campaign accidentally exposed his entire tax history between 2018 & 2024, along with his SSN and ID. His campaign had released a heavily redacted trove of tax documents to prove he could vote in Florida. While all the sensitive was redacted, they missed a barcode that when scanned, allowed a full download of his tax history with everything exposed. The most spicy detail is that he scammed Alabama by under reporting his income. His federal returns show his correct taxable income, but his state taxes were off by hundreds of thousands.
so whats all this section 224 penned by netanyahu hullabaloo about israel and the US merging militaries
also all these albanian protests burning down the PM's house over kushner/ivanka buying an island and their funds getting locked/audited
people also protesting in seoul right now over voters being denied the right to vote essentially, wonder if anything will come of it
People in other countries seem to understand that protest doesn't mean marching down a pre-approved parade route and dispersing after a few hours so more likely there will be results.

The USA is too well off for its citizens to ever feel like they have no choice to do that at any level that matters. Big western countries in general really. People always exalt France for not taking shit from their politicians but despite all of their protests in the last decade or two none of them really drove meaningful change either.
There's a reason these things always happen in poor countries where the citizens have little hope and even less to lose. They see the problems we are complaining about and call us milquetoast assholes that don't appreciate what we have.
South Korea is a notable exception but an understandable one, as they are old af, and those old people remember multiple brutal authoritarian regimes in their lifetimes. There isn't really another major developed country I can think of that both has that kind of recent history AND has a current government acting highly suspect.
