I also felt like the voice acting in 2 felt a little phoned in, the only exceptions I can recall were Junior and Ziggy, especially after the Voyager fight for Ziggy, but yeah, the combat system was the main issue with Xenosaga 2, trash mobs shouldn't take multiple minutes to kill imho lol

The most impactful thing from 2 for me was getting the strategy guide with the soundtrack disc included. Jin's battle theme and some other Celtic sounding song got sooo much play. :D

I remember playing through 1 as a teen loving it getting 2 and the battle system eventually wearing me down around the mid point. Never really went back after that.

This was my experience. I was so done with it by mid-game I never went back and completed it. One and Three were superb for it's day.

Yeah, although from what I read this version won't have the entire story from the gacha I believe

Apparently its solely for the Pokemon Home integration, and they don't want people cheesing spawns with the quick save/rewind features of the GBA app.
