DMC5 Devil Hunter edition has been rated in Taiwan
kinda crazy they never remade it besides the mild 3DS business 15 years ago, but i'm fuckin here for it. arguably still the goat Zelda.
Would you guys want "same game but prettier" or a full on remake? I'm more leaning towards the latter given the age of the game and ease of access to the originals (emulation, unofficial PC port, or Switch NSO+), just to see what modern Nintendo can do to make that world feel fresh again. Preferably less block pushing puzzles.
Second one. I dont want it to just be Breath of the Wild 3, but I'd love if they kind of updated the game to modern standards but still keeping all the core pieces and framework ya know? Hyrule Fields being bigger, eradicating loading zones between the major POIs, giving more 'area' to the game, that kind of stuff, if I'm making sense.
A 1:1 remake with prettier graphics and I'll probably just skip it. Its the reason I skipped the Links Awakening remake, as cute as the concept is, I'm not paying $60 for a game with about 45 minutes of content built to be played a very limited handheld system still measuring data with KBs(no im not double checking that).
As much as I love OOT, its an old game, a VERY old game, and its age shows with or without the Nostalgia goggles on. I'd much rather a remake (FF7 > FF7:Remake) as opposed to something like HaloCE Remaster or Oblivion Remaster. Though maybe not as DRASTIC as the 7 Remake... but idk, it could be fun, maybe they could pull it off, and I'd love to see a modern interpretation of the OOT at the scale of FF7 Remake, minus being sold to us 4 times over a decade.
Final Fantasy XIV is officially on its way to Switch 2!
Apparently you’ll have to pay an extra subscription fee even if you are already subscribed on a PC/Mac/PS4/PS5/Xbox. 50% off for those w/ an active subscription elsewhere.
Surprise Starfox 64 remake:
This looks amazing as fuck. I can't wait.
That Fox character design is nightmare fuel.
Was there a DK game that came out that year??
DK made sense just because he was the first nemesis/frenemy of Mario.
Not saying I was 100% convinced they were making a new Star Fox game after his appearance in the second movie, but I definitely had a very strong suspicion he was thrown in there for some reason like that.
Anyway, going to watch the video here in a second but I'm really hoping, as I said with the hypothetical OOT remake just a few posts up, thats its not just "Here is 25 year old game but now with RAYTRACING ON". Kinda hoping they spruce up some previously pretty uninteresting levels, maybe add some more content, idk. Looks beautiful, but nostalgia aside idk if I'd pay $70 or $80 for Star Fox 64.
Edit: ok, looks like the story is pretty much 1:1 but they added a bunch of new content around it, such as cutscenes and new game modes/multiplayer? Allrighty... I'll keep an eye on it.
Looks like it was 2 years later so I don't think that cameo had anything to do with the game

Inspired by the game design is not the same as "shoehorned into the movie because a new game is coming out"
