Naturally they're going to want the Canadian price to reflect the American one after currency conversion, vs. how much it'd actually cost to sell it in Canada + their mark-up.

Didn't they completely redesign the joysticks on the Switch 2 to deal with drift?

If they're not changing it to a hall effect style joystick its still potentially going to develop stick drift.

They're just being cheap by still sticking with a reed switch style.

Any time I got stick drift, I just shorted target. No questions asked return policy. Would just buy the same product and return the broken one. They do keep it on file if you do it digitally; so I recommend cash; and anything with a serial number they will scan it to match the box (in which case you'd have to swap the casing like when i returned a broken 3ds i just swapped the back plates)

Switch 2 is priced as much or less than some other modern consoles. Tbh the console itself is the least of my concerns… I’m still upset about $80 games and they haven’t even justified it.

the console itself is one thing but everything from controllers to games being so damn expensive is something else. Nintendo really charging $10-20 more for games, controllers, AC adapters than Sony/Microsoft/PC the nickel and diming is wild.
