"Nintendo is going to lose money due to their greed! Prices are too high!". Fucking lol.
Edit: To be clear, that's a common refrain I heard on Reddit. People will line up for the next new shiny thing no matter what. Dunno why people delude themselves otherwise.
Yeah, that + "it will fail like every second Nintendo console"
It is Japan though, where that system primarily dominated the last-gen, and they get a (much) cheaper region locked version, which I presume is where the majority of the pre-orders are.
Not that I'm not expecting it to sell well in North America also simply because it's launching with a new Mario Kart, people will throw wallets at it.
^ Japan is getting a reasonably priced $330~ console lol
It's Nintendo so they will still rake it in but I expect Sales to be slower than the first Switch

Bundles.. bundles everywhere
Anyone able to get a preorder? Currently in line with Best Buy.
This and the Avs game going to OT is keeping me up >.>;
Just got mine confirmed at BB. Got the bundle.
I actually checked out at Target prior, then got an email saying "technical issues" and they cancelled.
FYI Walmart has the non-bundle freely available for preorder still.
copped. either demand is way lower than expected or surplus is up but to still have stock 90 minutes later is somethin
I think demand is strong, but probably not as much as they could be. The higher prices combined with Trump's bullshit has made people weary. But I also feel like Nintendo was a bit better prepared for stock levels in the states. I do wonder if the queue systems Target/BB/Walmart have in place helped prevent bots from nuking stock immediately like in the past. That may have been a bit contributor as well. Who knows.
Best Buy loaded me into an empty cart, so guess I'm going to bed >.>
OT loss and now this, my disappointment tonight is immeasurable <.<;
June 5th release date for US units is not guaranteed and some will arrive later on.
It looks like got one from Gamestop
Tried to get one through gamestop website and just wasn't working so I went to the location and they had 52 bundles and 24 consoles. Got a bundle. A lot less hassle honestly.
Seeing that Costco has begun canceling preorders
Anyone getting pre order notifications for this yet? Nintendo loves that forced shortage.
