The season officially begins in less than 24 hours with the Japan series. Mookie is already on a plane back stateside with whatever viral infection has been spreading everywhere this past flu season.

The real start of the season is not til March 27th. The Rays and A's will have their stadium woes, one natural and one unnatural respectively. Obligatory fuck John Fisher.

Pitchers continue their rides to the IL conveyor belt. Bullpen games are inevitable before the All-Star break. Maybe Kershaw will hit 3000 Ks by the end of the season before his body breaks down. Won't know how that plot line develops until he gets off the IL.

And Fanatics/New Era continue to churn out garbage. What a way to follow up the "A'sss" hats with this year's Tetas, Ashos, and AnAles hats. Why is it always the AL West with the messed up merch? And will the new City Connects be ass? Anything will be better than the Boston Blue and Yellow. Too bad the Rockies are getting rid of their license plate CCs.

Wish all our respective teams good luck. May their pitchers arms be spared if they haven't already been destroyed already (Sorry Cole)
