Yeah, I've read about the Google issues and the missing download annoyed me, was checking the site and discord constantly. Not a good first impression
And it's been fixed now. Download is also available.

I won't be home until Sunday evening so won't be able to check the beta until then. Tried to install it on my steam deck with win11 but for some reason the game screen gets cut off significantly from both sides, lol
I run the launcher through steam and access it that way. Game needs an inverted camera option badly for controller.
So, I played the Closed Beta, which just ended yesterday, and I can say it was a lot of fun, though it might peter out at the end game after all content is released. By that time though, it would be fine to take a break since this will have seasonal content lasting a few months each and you'll have your life skills maxed as well.
Currently there's a draw for some prizes that 99.9% won't get and is deigned to boost pre-register numbers but you'll get other in-game currency and items so it's worth a shot:

Launching on October 9th

I tried this out today and sadly this may be the worst controller interface of any of the mobile ports I've played to the point where I just kinda gave up. And I've played Tower of Fantasy so that's saying something. I'm willing to give it another shot if they jettison the current system and overhaul it, but for now, I'm gonna have to pass.
Discord say's it's a steam client issue; you disable steam controller and it works properly, or you can download the installer from their website and run it that way without issue. I built a profile that acts much like Genshin impact, but they can do a lot better here.
I also tried downloading it through epic and running it through there and was still seeing the same issues, so unless steam is hijacking my settings looks like I'm just not gonna enjoy the game in its current form. Problems include button prompts that are so small and look the same that I can't tell which button I'm supposed to press, having to use the controller as a crappy virtual mouse replacement for the menus instead of using the dpad to move through settings like a properly designed interface, and the confirm and cancel button being backwards for a western audience.
Try my shared one for Blue Protocol - Elevenof8. Should work pretty well for everything combat and interaction related.
Oh, also, get those weekly profession quests done as they and very worth doing. They also give the event currency too.
For those that may be interested, the game has an enjoyable and easy catch-up event that lets you farm gold gear if you put in the time. Mastery dungeons, first real raid, and L60 gear next week, so it's a pretty good time to start and catch up to max level without any artificial wait.
