Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident.

He forgot to put the vehicle in park, causing it to roll down the street damaging other cars. He jumped in the vehicle (which had no platess) and drove off without identifying himself.

Not surprised, it's like all of the DOGE and NASA shit. We already bought all of the hardware for missions that are ramping up to launch 6+yrs out...so cancelling those missions only cancels about 25% of the total cost of them and leaves us with a ton of hardware that's very specialized and even if we can resell it would be for a huge loss, but usually just goes into excess and collects dust.
