The White House intervened when feds confiscated the Tate brothers' electronic devices when they arrived in Florida. The agents were forced to return their property.
I get the feeling that Trump is just the stereotypical lead brained boomer archetype.
Like you can have a 2 hour conversation with a lot of these people and they'll agree with every point you make. Then later on they finally realize it's Democrat stuff and they're off the wagon lol
He's shown time and time again he is susceptible to parroting things the last person he was in the room with says.
last few years (and this year also) my family has given up on cooking the turkey and we just pick it up from a restaurant that morning. been good
we just make all the sides on our own
I make a turkey about twice a year. I've only fucked it up once, when I mistimed the thaw.
My normal behavior is:
* Bake the turkey (lube it up good with butter or schmaltz and season it)
* Eat as much as possible day-of, ideally with more family over. Don't cut across the muscle fiber if you aren't going to eat that piece today
* Pick the turkey, trying to keep as much intact as possible
* Store any remaining dark meat in the fridge and eat it on salads / sandwiches or w/e throughout the week
* Freeze the white meat and carcass until you want to deal with it
* Make stock from the carcass
* Make avgolemono soup from the stock and use the white meat in it.
* Freeze any leftover soup
Congrats, your $0.19/lb turkey got combined with a bag of lemons, bag of rice, and a dozen eggs to make like 10 dinners.
I've gotten same-day juicy white meat all the times but one, but when you freeze / thaw it I find it's basically only good in soup. Instead of lamenting it, I just lean into it. Chicken is better in this regard. When I butterfly a chicken the white meat can be juicy basically forever.
Cajun seasoning infused deep fried turkey is the way to go
Medical theologist being considered a profession while educators and nurses are not is a wild fucking thing
I've only made a whole turkey once but I absolutely slathered that bird in butter and it got devoured. Mostly I just see turkeys in the road blocking traffic when I'm home for Thanksgiving.

It's funny, my indian parents do the turkey BS just because we're living the american life now but it's probably the worst meal I have with them all year.
gonna be my first thanksgiving as a vegetarian. gonna be kinda weird, but it's cool, i stopped wanting to eat turkey after i learned they try to help each other cross the road safely![]()
What do the veg meals look like
before: i made mac and cheese every thanksgiving
after: i will continue to make mac and cheese every thanksgiving
so basically extra mac and cheese and extra mashed potatoes and extra all other sides, and that's my new thanksgiving from here on out
also, you guys who said you were outsourcing the turkey? i had kfc turkey one year and it was kind of dry on the outer parts, but still good. once we got closer in, it was fantastic. worth a try if you haven't done it before.
