ham sucks
I can't eat ham anymore. I got a sandwich at Jersey Mike's once where they somehow sliced a half inch thick slab of gristle and connective tissue out of a ham and bit down on it.
One of those moments where it just totally ruins you forever. I gag at the thought now.
They like to roost in trees of my parents' house and will divebomb us if we get too close. Also, have to keep the dogs away from them or the dumb ol dogs will get fucked up
smoke your hams yourself, you'll never want it any other way again.
Go get a spiral sliced honey baked ham, make a proper ham glaze from scratch. Shit's delicious. It's an also ran to a proper turkey, but I'll add it to the menu if we have an especially large crown for Thanksgiving.
Just watched Alton's video a few minutes ago, love that man. I may try his gravy this year.
Ham is F tier. A tier is proper turkey or duck. B tier is chicken and Maryland Tier is crabcakes.
Alton Brown is one of my favorite Hot Ones guests.

ham sucks/f-tier is a shootable offense, baby ahh palates
Nah he right
chicken is the most accessible meat because of its mild neutral flavor and lean protein texture (and affordability), certainly better tasting minimally prepped meats but none more versatile. no meat is gonna carry you across more cuisines
Going to be serving meat pie and broccoli cheese soup for Thanksgiving this year.
We've hosted for the last 4 or 5 years but because I banned my MIL from my house...we're not.
2 birds...
Watching plebs argue about chicken versus turkey when we’re gonna make a delicious pernil. I truly feel sorry for some of you.
Has anyone tried a less standard fowl besides duck? Interested to hear how goose might stack up.
