from the people i follow on legal bluesky it sure sounds like trumps hand-picked prosecutor for the james and comey cases lied a whole bunch in her filings, james has already filed for dismissal and comey probably will be too

just announced that the indictment against comey was never shown to or voted on by the entire grand jury before moving forward in court

the lawyers also refused to answer if there was a memo recommending against moving forward with the trial, which of course means there is one

trump literally has the shittiest/dumbest lawyers imaginable

Probably worth mentioning that both cases were dismissed because the judge found the prosecutor who secured the indictments was unlawfully appointed, not necessarily because the indictments were bullshit.

Also dismissed without prejudice.
