There have been rumors going around that Trump is on Leqembi.
It is a drug for Alzheimer’s. It is administered via IV, causes swelling in the brain requiring regular MRIs, and one of the main side effects is tiredness.
I'm sure him staying up until 2am on uppers to have twitter rants doesn't help either.
so anywho, they appear to have arrested the guy who put pipe bombs around DC before January 6th
you’re not gonna believe it, but it seems like he was motivated by lies about the 2020 election being stolen
im surprised they even bothered looking for this guy
So with the way trumps pardon of the J6s was worded....is this guy pardoned? I know it's a weird question to even ask but it seems like a route his lawyers could take. I'm not a lawyer though and it's such a weird situation that I have no clue what to actually make of the idea.
Am I understanding the way pardons work wrongly? I thought someone had to be charged first before they could be pardoned? like you can’t pre-pardon someone with no charges yet? Because if so then I would assume this guy isn’t technically pardoned because he hadn’t been charged with anything yet.
Didn't Biden pre-pardon several people before he left office?
Trump has never been happier, or more awake, than this moment.

This World Cup draw is just Non-Stop FIFA bag licking Donald Trump...uggg.
I thought conservatives hated participation trophies.
WARticipation
I mean, if they CAN pre pardon people, is there anything preventing Any President from just going “I pardon my entire family from any Federal Crimes they have or may commit between now and the day of their death”? Other then approval ratings of course, but if it’s the end of their second term they literally wouldn’t give a fuck
I don't think a president can issue a blanket pardon for future crimes, but they can pardon someone for any crimes they may have committed in the past, which is what Biden did. In the end, it was a smart move for his family, especially considering that Trump has been using his power to go after people he dislikes or believes wronged him. He’s directed the DOJ to dig up anything they can on those individuals and try to put them behind bars.
Honestly, the fact that Trump hasn't actually successfully rounded up a bunch of people and thrown them in jail and/or put them on trial yet tells me that there are either people inside preventing it or that he's been told that there would be serious consequences for him and the admin if he did.
Like, Fauci and Hunter Biden aren't in jail right now, and this is after Trump himself said that Biden's pardons are "void" or whatever. A bunch of people like to be fatalists and say that Trump's word is ultimate law and he's the king and whatever but there's clearly pushback happening behind closed doors. Comey would be in jail too.
Him directing the DOJ to dig up stuff is just further proof of that. If he's the god emperor or whatever and has "plenary power" like Temu Goebbels said he does then none of this would be happening. They'd just be in jail.
I'd assume his entire cabinet will get pardoned. Hegseth probably first. Bondi for sure.
I'd also suspect that literally everyone remotely close to trump is advising him to not set a precedent of attempting to rescind pardons via legal wrangling. What if next admin finds out he had a dementia diagnosis when he signed them. None of his people want that just so Trump can score some political win against someone out of public life?
I fully expect him to do it.
If there are going to be pardons for acting members of the administration, they're going to be 11th hour and people are going to be forgotten.
