Kirk gave the microphone to any asshole or saint that wanted to say anything and they would discuss their ideas back and forth, and for that, he was killed because he was really damn good at it, given the youth response we've seen in the past couple of years.

And then, the unthinkable happened...

Zero riots.
Zero buildings burned.
Zero cops assaulted over this.
Nobody dragged in the streets over this.

He was murdered, and god willing, there won't be the violent response they were looking for here. The left couldn't stand him; had to kill him to stop his success; celebrate it all over social media? I have a feeling they'll wish it was just his voice, because this murder and the celebratory response to it just inspired millions of Kirks. I'm not big on predictions, because the world is an unpredictable place, but they pissed off/horrified of conservatives, republicans, independents, and democrats that still have a moral compass, and if that hands the democrat party their political ass on a silver platter, because the door hit them so hard on the way out of their political positions that it fell off, I wouldn't be surprised. It will be much deserved.

Kirk's "debates" were bullshit. He literally died in the middle of trying to make a bullshit racist argument to defend white people having unfettered access to firearms but keeping an eye out on the black people he considered less worthy and intelligent than him. He was shot by a white Mormon from a Republican household who had previously donated to Trump and whom if he isn't a far-right Groyper is certainly familiar with all their favorite memes. But back to the point.

Charlie Kirk never once in his entire short life handed a microphone to someone to let them talk and debate. He handed people microphones so he could cut them off, shout over them, make bad-faith arguments riddled with logical fallacies, and try to do so in front of teenage boys as much as possible as part of his agenda to indoctrinate them into right-wing politics. If you think he was going to "debate" like he wanted an honest exchange of ideas and was open to having his opinions (or the opinions he pretended to have in exchange for money) changed, you're an airplane glue sniffing fuckwit shitstain piece of braindead cockdribble.

It also attempts to magnify that portion of his actions like it was at all a significant fraction of his time. 99% of his appearances were him on his personal media outlets, spewing hours of unanswered and undebated racist, sexist, homophobic stochastic terrorism for the world to see. Not one of the media outlets eulogizing him so vociferously the last 48 hours has played a single clip of him speaking because you can't paint the picture of him that you're trying to and actually square it with the words that came out of his mouth.

Don't come in here and vomit up that "he debated ideas!" horseshit to those of us who've actually seen his shtick.

Some of the most hateful, fucked up people I’ve ever known in my life have been Christians. They’ll treat anyone they see as “beneath” them like garbage, throw out racist remarks like it’s nothing, and talk about underage girls as if they’re grown women. Then, without a hint of irony, they show up front and center every Sunday acting like saints. So yeah, fuck off with that holier-than-thou bullshit.

And let’s be real. Look at the news. Look at the arrests. Nine times out of ten, when someone gets busted for abusing children, it’s a white Christian man, and a huge percentage of the time he has deep ties to the church. Priests, pastors, youth leaders, church elders — the list goes on. These people hide behind religion as a shield while they destroy lives.

But sure, get up on your soapbox and act like your group is the moral authority. Act like you’re the “good ones.” Meanwhile, your record is stained with hypocrisy, abuse, and cover-ups. If your faith produces this much rot at the core, maybe it’s time to stop preaching at everyone else and start cleaning up your own fucking house.

Edit: And do not for a single fucking second pretend your side would not be rioting or doing harm if you got the shooter you were begging for. They were already laying the groundwork before anyone even knew who pulled the trigger. They were planting stories to fit the narrative, pushing whatever lie made their side look justified. I just did a search and found plenty. I think this is simply what happens when there’s a flood of news tied to his name, the search engines adjust constantly to keep up. When I searched “Charlie Kirk quotes” on Google, the very first result was a recent article listing 14 quotes.

Think it's important to remember that debate bro culture has never really been about learning and changing minds, but basically to win or make it sound like you won even if you really didn't. We know a lot of conservative fearmongering is some flavor of negative -ist bullshit and throwing statistics at them doesn't matter. It's part of what has made Trumpism so nauseating because they favor feelings over facts.

Attempting to liken this to Floyd's murder under the guise of disproportional response is incredibly disingenuous. In what US of fucking A have white christian men that like to bark their twisted dogma been systematically oppressed and wronged by the law that's supposed to be protecting them? Minorities getting the short end from cops is a known problem that has led to frequent murder, maiming, injury, theft, and other life-ruining circumstances. The response wasn't just a one guy affair as if he was meant to be a saint above all others, but an acknowledgment that the US has a problem with law enforcement that needs addressed in myriad ways and, to this day, has not.

Floyd was murdered over a $20 bill. How many others in traffic stops? How many simply because "they fit the description"? At what point do people get to say, "FUCK THIS SHIT!" and get violent when the "proper way" has proven itself inadequate? Kirk was murdered for over a decade of deplorable propaganda and the delicious irony of gun deaths being justified to make America a better place. For now, it's just him in the stable or right wing/alt-right talking heads. Shapiro is still safe. Fuentes isn't in a body bag. Alex Jones is somehow still existing. Glenn Beck is still a cunt. You've still got your Rogans, Asmongolds, and other small fish streamer grifter shills working unmolested and sending their cancel culture swarms at people who have the audacity to be happy something bad happened to a bad person in a world they're otherwise powerless in. Trump's still alive, too, despite multiple "assassination attempts" and a Wolverine X-factor ear recovery. It's not only appropriate to point out the hypocrisy of these so named, with bonus points to Trump for jumping the gun on his response, but also to acknowledge the high likelihood they advocate for the perpetuity of the system that led to the BLM protests among other modern issues. You can probably assume Floyd rightfully hated white people at best. It wasn't like he didn't have a history with the cop that killed him, after all. Nobody knew who the fuck he was before he died, though.

So, why did people get angry enough to hit the streets then when a veritable nobody died compared to a prominent public figure? The answer isn't because the left is a murderous death cult just looking for any excuse to go wild. But by all means, change my mind.

I noticed the same thing. I was only successful on TikTok and Twitter.
I love when people claim the only thing Charlie did was have respectful debate with college students. I then have to remind then that he was debating people decades younger than him, and he also gave speeches and interviews which is where he said some the most fucked up shit. I've seen people say leftists are frequently calling for violence against conservatives and so when you try to search for examples of the opposite all you get are videos of people celebrating Charlie Kirk's death or videos commemorating Charlie Kirk.
