The only reason this article got written is the implication (via the house democrats releasing it) that it was being kept hidden. tbf one of the enduring mysteries for me is why Trump hasn't stepped forward and said something like, "what of it? I like women" like Kavanaugh. I mean, republicans seated two rapists on the supreme court. Are they really going to balk at Trump conforming to another macho stereotype?

I think it's really unfortunate that the Epstein story is ignoring an elephant in the room, being that Epstein was first and foremost a fixer. His primary operation was to provide services for powerful, influential people. Those services included child rape and trafficking, but were hardly the only one, and probably wasn't even in the top 10. It's just obviously the most heinous and easiest to be outraged at.

There's a significant number of people out there like Bill Gates and probably Bill Clinton that can hand wave the Epstein stuff away by just saying they didn't know about or participate in the kiddie diddling, which may well be true. Doesn't mean they didn't do a bunch of other abhorrent illegal shit there though.
