I guess somebody could see her being attacked for being trans and feel like they need to defend her performance to "offset" it or something. Which is silly. Especially considering she herself admitted pretty early on she was disappointed in her performance.

Vocal minority. Myself, trans, didn't think she did great. I rolled my eyes at people labeling people transphobes over that. Mostly because it leads to moments like this, where someone believes "everyone was labeled a transphobe for disliking a trans person's performance", which is just damaging.

The whole rhetoric and people's behavior around it is just disheartening.

It's fun just skimming those comments seeing them claim they were pushing their woke agenda in XIV, but no one, like, actually citing content that on its own was implicitly woke. If anything, I'd argue DT erred toward conservative message relative to history and remembrance while the most "woke" thing about it was just the main city was a melting pot of races on that particular continent. And even then it wasn't always that way until Daddy Ja did his thing. Or maybe they hate tacos. Honestly, we should purge people who hate tacos.

Also the idiocracy of blaming a translator for the lore and story.

I didn't have any problem with her portrayal, it was more she was a dull character in general. But she was meant to be a dull "woman of the people" type character.

Realistically speaking it could be all of it.

Keep in mind this dude is 22. He enrolled in college a few years ago. A lot of the information they've dug up on him comes from when he was 16-18.

This guy would have been 14 when Trump got elected for his first term.

Dude grows up in super conservative family. Goes to college. Has a bunch of life experiences. Moves left. This is not exactly a rare scenario lol.

From a media standpoint certainly not because that's a one way street for Republicans only.

But after spending the last 5 days watching people comb through every text message, tweet, Steam friend, class note and anyone who has ever come into contact with him looking for a Trans connection, and now having his roommate and alleged lover singing like a canary to the FBI, I am incredibly skeptical of whatever motive they end up putting out there beyond the accused thinking Charlie Kirk sucked.

But this administration has shown through the Epstein investigation that it is incredibly trustworthy so I'm sure everyone will take the results of this investigation at face value.
