I mean just look at sports journalism right now. There's a massive collusion scandal in the NBA, easily the biggest ever, and I guarantee you maybe 1% of people know about it at all. Every major sports news organization is not only not covering it, but censoring and threatening their own journalists to not report on it or to try to discredit the reports.

There is just very little enthusiasm or interest in doing anything without financial incentive these days, universally, at the corporate level. Grassroots is all that's left.
