I always watched Leno for the monologues. Never the interviews.
Nothings changed. Colbert monologues are entertaining. Interviews aren't. Only really watch the daily show for the monologue too. Comedians doing comedy, wild right. 30 years later it's the same deal. Interviews sucks. Boring as hell. It's why I don't get the podcast bros. How does that entertain you. It's a slog.
Ferguson being the exception, he almost exclusively brought hot actresses. You had to respect the game.
