    post mp4 vidoes

    Greetings,

    Sorry if this is the wrong thread. I found a video on a discord channel that I wanted to share here but its a mp4 and the usual means I know of how to post isn't producing the desired results. Is there a way to post it so it shows up like a youtube video etc?

    I don't think I've seen anything that isn't a youtube video or tweet embed in the way I think you're after. What few options probably still exist these days might not even allow hot linking, either.

    Late answer but since video embeds didn't exist when these forums were created 15+ years ago there's no real way to upload them. Only workarounds would be to embed gifs or use youtube/twitter links.
