I’m not complaining about anything they showed, it all looked great. I’m complaining that this was sold as the biggest bombshell Sony showcase in a generation and it ended up being completely predictable.

This seems like a bridge game between the Valhalla saga and w/e comes next. Also besides the end and very beginning this was a whole lot of nothing. I assume it's just cause a lot of stuff was held out for Summer Games Fest but who knows.

If this had been the usual State of Play where they announce it like 3 days ahead of time I think I would have been awesome. The huge lead time giving people so much time to speculate was a mistake. Wolverine and God of War are huge titles but not like, hype you up for 2 weeks while everyone is awaiting the biggest trilogy end of all time and a new console.

oh my brother that's one of the gaming GOATs imo. Ragnarok and the Valhalla DLC are brilliant as well. Cory Balrog absolutely cooked reimagining Kratos as a sad dad.

The Wolverine game is going to sell like a billion copies. I don't think it's bloody enough though! ^^;

Is it weird that of all the games the one I am looking forward to the most is Kemuri: Hunt the Unseen? Looks really slick.

Nothing unexpected at all and almost nothing new either. I’m not sure what they were going for.

I mostly just saw titles I was actually interested in checking out (a lot of horror & hack n' slash which I'm into). Overall though, yeah, there was a lack of variety/mood and surprises.

Maybe Sony was thinking since they were showing off Wolverine with blood everywhere (no flying intestines/dismemberment that I could see unfortunately), they may as well pack in as many M-rated trailers as they can into this one showing.

State of Play was better than expected imo, its the beginning of summer after all. They'll be holding off the announcement of the bigger titles for after summer.
