Maximilian has some massive gift sub vet it's happening then. His reasoning is because of a price drop for Rebirth on PS5, reasoning there's no reason to do that in February since the other systems versions don't release until June. Mans been on the mark with a lot of things FFVII related so we'll see.

so part 2 is coming to xbox this summer, buddy I gameshare with is picking it up but not part 1 because 'I watched it on youtube already.' knowing obviously that this is a biased ass place to ask I assume it's worth me picking up part 1 and playing it first?

I'd highly recommend it because if you play Rebirth first, Remake will feel sluggish to go back to IMO. Plus, if you haven't watched it all on Youtube/Twitch, then the expanded story/characterization will set you up to enjoy Rebirth.

Part 1 has a lot of great moments, and it'll be harder to go back afterwards and play because part 2 adds a lot to the combat.
