Huh... Almost looks like they used the DW Origins engine to remake 3, in which case, I'm all for it.

I loved DW Origins but it was definitely a "Spin off" vibe kind of game, in that you know, you're railroaded into a MC with no customization and cant even play a free mode or as any of the other characters the series is known for. It was fun, but it left me itching for a real Dynasty Warriors game, and this looks like its in that path.

I'll have to wait to see what else they add, Dynasty Warriors 3 was fun but its decades old at this point, and I need to know they did more than just slap the new engine on it. Kinda curious if they added new features or stuff from the modern games.

Remastered with Unreal Engine 5. They added modern controls and a new UI. No other details released.

Ah so they are adding some of the more modern mechanics into the game, just maybe not to the extent as Origins. Well, hopefully it has a pretty good price point, think I'll pick it up if so.
