Season starts tomorrow in less than 36 hours. It's also the last season before the regular season gains 2 games (84 game season) and a September start date for 2026-2027.

The Core 4 in Toronto is finally beheaded with Marner in Vegas.

Will be difficult for the Cats to 3-peat with 2 major contributors in Barkov and Tkachuk out for a significant amount of time, the former def missing the Olympics and the latter being held together by duct tape to make the US roster.

Reminder that Corey Perry (on IR until at least December) is on the Kings making them most likely to make the Stanley Cup Finals and lose (DOUBT they even make it that far with lol Ceici and losing to the Oilers in 3)

Speaking of IR, the LTIR loophole has been mostly closed because a Canadian team took advantage of it for a few post season games. Reminder max cap relief is max $3.5M or cap hit of an injured player (whichever is lower) or full salary cap relief with a caveat of losing post season eligibility.

They literally called up players that would never see an NHL game specifically to injure NHL players. Just blatantly didn't even show up to play hockey. There's no way they couldn't punish this behavior, no matter how much you think the Panthers deserve it.
