It's been nearly 3 weeks since the surgery (or at least since announced back on September 23rd) and it's not like he's a 320 lb NFL lineman with a huge frame to carry around.

Still probably on a 7 month return which is April. He's definitely missing the Olympics. And according to Sportsnet, the Panthers aren't taking the full LTIR cap relief for Barkov.

It's a really bad idea. That brace looks wimpy too. They are usually thicker and have more support. I assume the worst though like it was a really bad tear.

it really comes down to pain management and what you want to do. Co-worker of mine stuck it out for a few years and he finally had it done as it went from being sore from activity to sore all the time.

Former athlete and in a country with healthcare speaking, but IMO the only reason for someone not to have an MCL/ACL/PCL/LCL tear surgically repaired is if you can't afford it.

Kreider acquisition working out pretty well early on for the Ducks. 3 games, 4 goals (3 on the powerplay), and 1 assist. Want to say it took us 10 games before our first powerplay goal last season.

forgot to post it when I saw it, but that 7-6 loss we had against the Ducks, to give you an idea how bad our Defense is, despite giving up 7 goals, Askarov's expected goal save % was only -.65%. Dude was standing on his head blocking 2-3 shots before finally one getting in while waiting for the defense to come.
