Now if only Hellebyuck could play like that in the playoffs for the Jets. For as good as McDavid is he tried too hard to force it solo on both shifts in OT and it bit them.

Glad we had an entire line of Panthers do nothing all tournament as well. Definitely couldn't have used another top 5-in-the-league scoring forward like Schiefele.

Hellyebuyck was a damn monster. Think this was the only game neither Celebrini or McDavid didn't register a point for Canada this Olympics.

3v3 needs to be removed from knockout round through the medal games. Keep it for pool play if they must. At least it wasn't settled by shoot out.

To be fair everyone was left off the scoresheet except Makar and Toews.

The entire Panthers line combined for 4 points in the tournament and one goal in the elimination rounds. Seth Jarvis had one point in the tournament. Brandon Hagel had 1G 0A. Any two of those names should have been left off the roster for Schiefele and Bedard.

Hopefully we don't have to suffer another Doug Armstrong roster in 2030. They dominated 80% of the game today but they couldn't capitalize on their chances and it probably would have been nice to have two of the top 10 Canadian scorers in the league on the roster in a 2-1 OT loss.

Edit: Also I like him but Parayko putting up 0G 0A and 2 shots the entire tournament is rough. Sure woulda been nice to have Schaefer or (choking back vomit) Bouchard for situations like this.
