Anyway here's Noah Gregor elbowing Carter Yakemchuk in the head and getting a 5 minute major + game misconduct. I'm sure he'll be getting a high five from George Parros today.
Also Brady Tkachuk would never let a hit like that go unanswered for because he said so on his podcast so I'm sure he fought someone on the Panthers afterwards.

Capitals are only 2 pts back of the Pacific division lead!
Yep, nothing intentional about that, right? Definitely kept his elbow tucked in and definitely didn't deliberately push it out and aim for the guy's face when he knew he was gonna miss his hit. I mean, his feet also definitely didn't leave the ice and he didn't launch into the guy at all either, right?
Totally typical and clean Florida hockey as per usual.
You're new to hockey, so just so you're aware, this is what players wear on their elbows

To be fair, Yakemchuk's face did tuck Gregor's elbow back in for him.
Anyways

Vancouver beat the Avs tonight 8-6 which I'm sure everyone had on their bingo cards.
The Avs have also now allowed a league-worst 13 shorthanded goals this season.
Another fun bingo card spot. The Ducks currently lead the Pacific with a -8 goal differential.
Edmonton is in second with +10.
Vegas is third at 0.
For Comparison, Avs lead the central with +96, followed by Dallas at +46, and the Wild at +26.

Brady is a grade A clown. Between saying he would never let what the Leafs did happen to his teammate (and then doing nothing when Chabot got his wrist broken by a slash, and doing nothing when his rookie teammate got elbowed in the head), and laughing while his dad drives a bus over his teammate, he's just very clearly all bark.
I also think the Sens ought to trade him while he still has some value because there is no chance in hell he's re-signing there.
Yeahhh a blockbuster trade sounds like a no brainier for them. He needs new scenery

Canes beat CBJ 5-1 for the clinch.
The Islanders pulled their goalie with over 7:30 left in the third period, and the Flyers never scored on the empty net.
THE BUFFALO SABRES HAVE CLINCHED A PLAYOFF SPOT
Penguins threatening to put up a 10 spot on Florida today and both teams play each other again tomorrow.... I suspect Florida is about to activate head hunting mode
