At least Castle got a nice poster tonight
At least Castle got a nice poster tonight
How do y'all feel about the backlash on the Thunder Refs after seeing all the bullshit they pulled last night? I don't think it's completely the reason the Spurs lost, but fucking LoL at these refs. Tony Brothers crew is the worst. The in game foul montage on Heartenstien is hilarious
the Hartenstein on Wemby defensive highlights were deeply funny when literally every clip was Hart hooking/grabbing his arms culminating in him yanking Castle's dreads lmao
it reminds me a lot of Golden State's moving screens/holds during their dynasty. a successful team gets a reputation as whatever, free flowing movement offense, tough-nosed defenders, and they're allowed to get away with what other teams can't, and they're doing it almost every play daring the refs to call every foul.
OKC is especially annoying tho because on the other end they're doing this, collectively the worst flopping/foul-baiting team in the league with the worst flopping star since Harden

it's clearly their planned DNA, significant part of their game oriented around gaming the refs. i like a lot of individual OKC players, and generally like their aggro defense, but as a team it's awful to watch sometimes.
Hartenstein got kinda cooked in game 1, and responded in game 2 with absurdly aggressive and often illegal defense cause he knew the refs would let him and OKC get away with it.
The ref staring directly at him and Castle as he yanks him down by the hair is absurdly on brand for how the refs let OKC play
Basketball really does produce some of the best memes lol
Spoiler: show
If the Spurs put Oylenk out on the floor, he will be out there to break everyone's arms
oooh, gross, neither of them are very easy injuries to deal with, this late in the game
shame both teams are eating such serious injuries, depth undervalued when it comes to championship runs
Fox starting. Maybe the Spurs won't have infinity turnovers tonight.
Fox going and injuring himself going for a loose ball. Seems like a pattern.
San Antonio has a wicked storm brewing
Why not just have some low level goon on your bench blast SGA with his baby soft foul baiting bullshit? Feels like dude is on his ass every other shot with the theatrics.
When did basketball get away from this in the 20+ years I haven’t been paying attention?
