The greatest anime ending of all time.
I was in NYC for Distant Worlds which happened to be the same night as the Knicks game. What a wild night.
I don't want peterson or boozer for the bulls. No chance DJ falls that low so basically I guess I'm hoping for Wilson.
FUCK THE 2ND APRON RUN THAT SHIT BACK
i swear to god if we won another that starting 5 would have a statue in every borough
i've loved the Knicks starting 5 for a while (think i was the only non-stan on earth to take them over Boston last year) but this was an unusually easy run, as shown by 16-3. injuries kinna killed Boston OKC and Indiana.
it's hard with the salary cap so fucked but i'd like to see them reshuffle the bench, it's still a p significant weak point. a real secondary playmaker would be nice to alleviate some Brunson-ball. hopefully with the chip and the media market they can grab some solid vet mins (shoutout Shamet you were inconsistent but shot the ball real good).
the crowd parting before him like the red sea lmaooooooo. also those bitches who ran at him when his back was turned to throw a terrible punch then ran away again when they got his attention damn, kids won't stand their ground and lose a fight these days.
ppl were picking the hawks over us, saying maxey > brunson, spurs/okc was the real finals, etc etc and NOW we wanna call it an easy run
you just won a chip New York it's ok you don't have to be insecure anymore, you can admit things
Indiana knocked you out the last two years in a row, the defending champs lost their 2nd and 4th top players in the WCF, the champs before them blew it up expecting a prolonged Achilles recovery (whoops). you can only beat who is in front of you, but yeah it wasn't the hardest chip. Denver had an even easier path if it helps.
not some asterisk chip or anything, just sayin next year will likely be harder.
we legitimately stomped people, but i don't think that means the path was easy. its not like we beat an injured team like okc/toronto/gsw did in their runs. brunson is still really the only guy who seemed to have figured out wemby
id be MORE THAN HAPPY to prove it again tho, i think this team stomps the pacers and could outduel the thunder
wouldn't mind seeing it which is why i'd like the bench to be upgraded. part of the issue with Indiana was the gogogo pace and their deeper roster is fundamentally hard to match up without running the starters into the ground. then again maybe they're cooked anyways with Hali not coming back right / Zubac not fitting in like Myles.
I remember as a kid when the Jeter-Jeffrey Maier homerun happened and my uncle and grandfather explained to me something I still hold close to this day.
Who gives a flying fuck! A win is a win is a win. Let alone a championship!
WE TAKE THOSE
