Rui Hachimura to the Clippers
Derozan waived by the Kings
And the Giannis trade is now official.
68 million a year is crazy (with a 75 million dollar player option when he's 34)
Like yes he's good, but fucking hell.
The King of New York is getting surgery on his right forearm/wrist. Expected rehab timeframe is two months.
My man brought us to the Promised Land with one arm. Absolute legend.
As someone who assumed the NBA was waiting for everyone to just forget I'm pleasantly surprised
hahahaha
Oh hey, more proof Dolan is a piece of shit

Counterpoint: for the last 30 years he is basically the Mendoza line for owners. 1 championship, 2 more finals. Outside of golden state, spurs, lakers, Miami, Celtics, it’s pretty good compared to other owners. I can think of ten franchises that would take those scandals in return for a championship.
Please ignore the Isaiah Thomas era
He only became "good" recently (2020) by removing himself from basketball decisions/getting distracted by other ventures like The Sphere and his shitty band and letting Leon Rose run things.
He's moved from being a terrible owner that also ruined his team by mingling in their business, to being a terrible owner who made the (one) good decision of letting a (really good) GM run the team
He still runs MSG, still has ridiculous draconian racist policies there, still won't unban Charles Oakley.
I'm not an entertainment industry guy, but I'd be shocked if event planners for major venues that attract a wide breadth of celebrity personalities didn't do this as industry standard. You don't want to be hosting an event and have Mel Gibson sitting right behind Kristin Stewart. And you probably don't want to send invites or dish out an any plaudits to Tim Hardaway on pride night.
I mean, it's James Dolan so he doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Regardless, tracking every trait of celebrities would seem to be a no-brainer for world famous venues that attract a lot of celebrities.
