All you footy guys, ELI5 what the hell is going on with this Morocco/Senegal debacle.

Blatant corruption lol

During the final, near the end of the game Senegal had a goal wrongfully disallowed and then soon after Morocco was given a questionable penalty. Senegal team walked off the pitch in protest. They returned around 15 mins later and ref continued the game. Morocco missed the penalty and then Senegal scored a goal to win.

Now 2 months after the fact, this court is saying they walked off the pitch and therefore forfeited the match giving Morocco a 3-0 automatic win. Which is some bullshit since ref allowed the game to continue. If it was gonna be suspended, it should've been done at that time. They've already lifted the trophy and, had parades, etc etc.
