FUN (NOT) with a new tv. What's a good pair of bluetooth headphones with long battery life?

So okay. My TV finally bit it this morning to my annoyance. I had to run out to get me a new one; I got a LG. Only problem is it has no audio jacks, so I can't use my old faithful Sennheiser headphones anymore with my consoles. Which could end up making quite a bit of noise with the tv in the living room..

However, this tv is bluetooth compat. I do have one pair of bluetooth headphones, but they don't have the greatest sound quality or battery life. So thought I'd ask BG. Which bluetooth headphones do you guys recommend for gaming/tv watching? (Don't worry I'll deal until I can solve this. Thank heaven I don't have to worry about anyone who hates gaming right now, unlike what I had when I first did this setup.)

Also forgot to mention; I favor over the ear, but you've prolly seen me say something about that when I've asked about headsets in the past.

Audeze maxwell one of the best gaming/bt headsets but they are a bit on the heavy side and a maxwell 2 is set to be in pre order this week.
On the more audiophile end Sennheiser HDB 630.

These both have dongles as well that "can" improve the audio quality depending on source.

Not sure if these are within your price range.

Good news. The old sennhiesers are back in service. The fact the one Best Buy sold me didn't have a headphone jack + NO NATIVE 1080P just got too on my nerves. Not to mention I couldn't game with my door open; it annoyed my brother! Luckily Best Buy has a very lenient return policy. I now have a Insigna Fire TV that has a headphone jack; Just need to find a short audio extension cable which should be a LOT cheaper. And I think I found one.

Seriously; 2 tvs basically 5-6 feet from each other are just way too noisy. I'll just have to get a mic later for say, voice chat on the PS4 and maybe later on a PS5 (haven't seen a reason to buy one..YET). Not to mention watching TV, period. I don't want to bug the whole house when I'm watching animu...

I'll look into one for my phone later tho Taki. I'm in a hands free state anyway.

Welp, too late. But yeah most cheap TVs will drop the audio output for an HDMI (e)ARC which you can get a 5-25$ adapter on Amazon.

That's good to know Ragns in case I end up in that situation again. But yeah, no native 1080p plus the audio problem ended up being a dealbreaker. I mean FFXIV looked like trash...

It's not something I'd recommend unless you're stuck with it. I'd rather pay 50$ more for a TV than have to deal with taking an extra AC outlet and losing an HDMI output.

I'm just morbidly curious. Was the TV forcing some shitty upscaling to 4K, or did it just outright reject a 1080p signal for some bizarre reason? Or was this a smaller TV which may have been a 720p/768p panel? Even then the shitty 13" one I have here from a decade ago still accepts a 1080p signal, just it downsamples it.

Kaisha; it was not rejecting it but b/c this was a 32 incher, so I think it was 768 and doing a shitty upscale. When I asked for 1080p. The Insigna I have now is a 32 incher with native 1080p so yes THAT can be done. And it was cheaper.

Tried 1080P and everything looked like trash with my pc with the old screen. Very blurry text and all. Since I use it for not only consoles but also for my pc, that's strike one. The "SHUT YOUR DOOR" was just the final straw since I see no reason to hide when I'm gaming.

And Ragns; me b/c of the distance between the tvs I think the hassle is worth it. Those Sennhiesers have lasted me over 10 years, they're TANKS. And I use them for tv watching as well as gaming; originally I got them b/c it's kinda really suuper annoying to have two tvs going off at once. Not to mention my mom haaated game music so I didn't want to blast her with it. I no longer have to worry about the mom OR my sister but you really don't want 2 tvs 5-6 feet from each other making noise; it just gets irritating real fast unless you're numb or something. I'm just glad this cheap tv has a headphone jack, tho the Sennhiesers need a power plug as well. If you're meaning most HDMI to headphone adapters need a power plug; That would be a pain in my tail. Good thing I ducked it.

That, most of the chinese adapters I've seen require an extra power plug.
