He only BARELY lost 2020 because of COVID and historic mail in turnout. Even then the electoral margins were tiny. Popular vote doesn't matter, whine all you want, it is what it is.

They have neutered all of those options going forward and gerrymandered even further from that.

99.99999999999999% of Republicans will bitch and moan and wax poetic about how much they hate Trump and then they will go to the ballot and vote for him because they all genuinely believe that voting blue is equivalent to blaspheming against God. His popularity is totally irrelevant, the only hope the Dems have is that we have some kind of major weather crisis that stunts voting in red states or that he becomes so toxic that a bunch of them stay home. There is zero evidence to suggest that this is even possible.

I mean not to be a doomist but I kind of agree. The Propaganda war is over and Republicans won. Every major news network on TV spouts Republican propaganda almost 24/7 with no pushback and the average person isnt going to dig beneath the surface. Renee Goods father is a Trump supporter, the Gestapo murdered his daughter in cold blood, and I firmly believe he'd vote for Trump in a third term(hypothetically) because he views the Democrats as even more evil because thats what the news on TV tells him to think.

I want to believe in the best but even long after this orange fuck is dead, we'll be living in the shadow of the consequences of this administration until we die.
