All these lawyers crawling over the Epstein files when they'd rather be working on something else probably aren't the right people for the job. We need accountants to take a look at where his money came from. My guess is that he had close to no legitimate business and it was all millions of dollars in consulting fees paid to a borderline illiterate man.

That said, I don't think there is a real reason to hypothesize that Epstein was secretly a principled agent of a government as opposed to an unprincipled grifter. He'd probably have worked with anyone that wanted to work with him for the right price, but idk that there is great evidence of it and he could have just as easily spent the whole time fleecing billionaires.
